Tottenham Hotspur fans are delighted to see Moussa Sissoko back in training.
The France international was pictured on a pitch again, having sustained a knee injury against Southampton on New Year’s Day.
No clues whatsoever: Which seasons do these iconic Spurs images belong to?
Since his absence, Spurs have won just three games of the eight they have played, and he now appears to be nearing a return.
Of course, the Premier League’s suspension means that there will be no football until April 3rd, meaning that this weekend’s clash with Manchester United is suspended.
Nevertheless, fans are thrilled at the prospect of Sissoko’s return.
The 30-year-old has also been compared with Tanguy Ndombele by a number of supporters.
Sissoko’s fellow Frenchman has been struggling for his fitness this season, playing the full 90 minutes just three times in the Premier League; two of those came in the first two games of the season.
And supporters believe that Sissoko’s movement in training is speedier than that of the former Lyon midfielder on the pitch.
Spurs, of course, won’t be playing this weekend and will face Sheffield United when the season resumes, should there be no further suspension of play.
Meanwhile, Spurs fans love this Mourinho decision!
