Opener Naman Ojha made 45 off 67 balls, with seven fours, andset the tone for the entire innings.The top-scorer for Madhya Pradesh was Devendrasingh Bundela, who made56 off 69 balls. His innings consisted largely of craftily runsingles, and he hit only four fours in his knock. Bundela fell in the39th over, but the tail hit some lusty blows to propel the total to276/8 in 50 overs.Vidarbha started off slowly, with 99 coming off 25.2 overs. Barringopener Amit Deshpande’s 40 and Rahul Jadhav’s 42, none of the batsmencould come good, and Vidarbha were bowled out for 204 to give MadhyaPradesh a 72-run victory.
