Toney swapped Brentford for Al-Ahli late last month and has since been getting to grips with his new surroundings in Saudi Arabia. Toney was reportedly once valued at £100m by Brentford and was coveted by the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea. But as his form dropped off and his contract ticked down, the interest in the 28-year-old waned, before the ex-Peterborough United star made the switch to the Middle East. In a time that is likely to be his peak years of football, he has traded it in for a lucrative two-year deal in a division of a much lower quality.
